For your comfort and security we currently have a keypad entry system for checking in and details will be sent to you by text. You may check in any time from 11.00 or earlier by prior arrangement. We take great care to make sure your room is prepared to the highest standards, so we can not always guarantee that your room will be ready before 2 p.m. You can, of course, drop off your luggage with us anytime from 11 a.m., park your car and set off to explore all that York has to offer.

Cancellation policy

Here at St George's Guests may cancel free of charge up until 2pm on the day of their arrival.You will be charged the full amount of your booking if you cancel after 2pm.

Pets

For the comfort of all guests and those who have allergies, we are unfortunately unable to accommodate guests with pets.

Smoking

For the comfort and safety of all guests, smoking is not allowed at St George's Hotel. Please note that a charge of £200 will be applied to any guest who smokes in their room, as all soft furnishings and curtains will require professional cleaning in order to re-instate the room.
